Carbon Steel Flanges
Forged carbon steel flanges are the backbone of industrial piping. Known for their excellent machinability and durability, these flanges are ideal for non-corrosive liquids and gases in high-pressure environments.
Grades and applications
- Common Grades: ASTM A105 (Ambient service), ASTM A350 LF2 (Low-temperature service), ASTM A694 (High-yield for transmission pipe).
- Surface Treatment: Anti-rust oil, black paint, yellow transparent paint, hot-dip galvanized, or electro-galvanized.
- Facing: RF (Raised Face) is standard; RTJ (Ring Type Joint) for high pressure; FF (Flat Face).
Dimensional chart — ASME B16.5 (Carbon Steel)
